Asthma

Dr. Anita Shvarts received her medical degree from New York Medical College. Following graduation, she completed a residency in Pediatrics at Women’s and Children’s Hospital of Buffalo. She then completed a fellowship in Pediatric and Adult Allergy and Immunology at State University of Buffalo, New York.

Dr. Shvarts is board certified by both the American Board of Pediatrics and the American Board of Allergy and Immunology. She is a Fellow of the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology, and the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. She cares for both children and adults with allergic diseases and immunodeficiency, and has a special interest in asthma, food allergy, eczema, angioedema, and immunodeficiency .

Originally from Brooklyn, New York, Dr. Shvarts moved to Atlanta in 2012 with her husband and two children. She practiced in Atlanta for two years prior to establishing North Georgia Allergy Asthma & Immunology, LLC in 2015. In her spare time, she enjoys swimming, antiquing, visiting historical homes, traveling, and spending time with her children.
